Cherry sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 11 units tested over 4 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.83 per 10 ml.
We run cherry the same way in Maputo: same sub-ohm kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
A cherry sub-ohm kit from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT2.83 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested cherry in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.83 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.83 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
