Grapey cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on grapey: 7 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Grapey in Maputo reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: grapey in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey cartomizer really costs in Maputo
The honest read on grapey: 7 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
