Cherry RDA IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cherry habit
We run cherry the same way in Maputo: same RDA, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: cherry in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry RDA really costs in Maputo
Cherry in Maputo reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cherry in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does cherry in a RDA last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.66 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
