Grapey box mod IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Grapey sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: grapey in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey box mod really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested grapey in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.16 per 10 ml liquid plus MT51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.16 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
