Frozen vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What frozen costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Frozen in Maputo reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: frozen in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen vape pen really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested frozen in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for frozen in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT65 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.8 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.8 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
