Frozen RDA IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
If you are looking at frozen in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Frozen in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen RDA really costs in Maputo
The honest read on frozen: 17 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for frozen in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT59 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.76 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
How long does frozen in a RDA last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
