Frozen cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Frozen in Maputo reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Frozen cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a frozen cartomizer really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at frozen in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.78 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT60 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.78 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
