Iced 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 21 units tested over 6 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with iced in Mozambique
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Iced in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: iced in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.09 per 10 ml.
How we tested iced in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.09 per 10 ml.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Is iced legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
How long does iced in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
