Frozen cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 17 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
A frozen cartomizer from the compared options in Mozambique costs about MT2.45 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run frozen the same way in Maputo: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested frozen in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.45 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.45 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
