Frozen 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What frozen costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Frozen in Maputo reaches the shelf in 100 ml bottle formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.73 per 10 ml.
How we tested frozen in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.73 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
