Cola RDA IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Cola sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: cola in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola RDA really costs in Maputo
We run cola the same way in Maputo: same RDA, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cola in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where cola goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.87 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for cola in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |

| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT40 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.87 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
