Frozen 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What frozen costs in Maputo
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.08 per 10 ml.
Frozen in a 10 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: frozen in Maputo works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
We run frozen the same way in Maputo: same 10 ml bottle, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested frozen in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.08 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for frozen in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.08 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
