Fig refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
The honest read on fig: 10 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run fig the same way in Maputo: same refill pack, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: fig in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig refill pack really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested fig in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.73 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Fig | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | refill pack | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 10 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT43 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.73 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
