Fig in Maputo: 13 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the fig habit
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Fig in Maputo reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested fig in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.09 per 10 ml.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
