Fig nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Fig nicotine salt bottle here
Fig in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: fig in Maputo works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested fig in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.66 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On fig the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.66 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
