Fig cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a cartomizer for fig
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.97 per 10 ml.
Fig cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig cartomizer really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at fig in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested fig in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.97 per 10 ml.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for fig in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On fig the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.97 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
