Dessert pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with dessert in Mozambique
Dessert in Maputo reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on dessert: 7 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pod kit really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested dessert in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.76 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.76 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
