Dessert pen device IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with dessert in Mozambique
A dessert pen device from the pre-order options in Mozambique costs about MT1.9 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at dessert in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pen device really costs in Maputo
The honest read on dessert: 18 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested dessert in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.9 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
