Licorice squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Licorice in Maputo: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the licorice habit
We run licorice the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Licorice squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: licorice in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice squonk mod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at licorice in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested licorice in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.13 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | MT42 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.13 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
