Dessert pen device IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Dessert pen device here
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Dessert in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pen device really costs in Maputo
A dessert pen device from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT2.69 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested dessert in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
