Cream refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Cream in Maputo: 7 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a refill pack for cream
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The honest read on cream: 7 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: cream in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cream refill pack really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested cream in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cream bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cream goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cream tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | MT45 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.45 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
