Cream 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Cream in Maputo: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Cream sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: cream in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cream 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Cream prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.7 per 10 ml.
How we tested cream in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cream goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cream tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does cream in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is cream legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does cream taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cream blend itself harsh.
