Spiced 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A spiced 30 ml shortfill from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT3.25 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.25 per 10 ml.
How we tested spiced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.25 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does spiced in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
