Cola starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.44 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola starter kit really costs in Maputo
The honest read on cola: 12 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested cola in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where cola goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.44 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
