Vanilla refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Vanilla in Maputo: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at vanilla in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.28 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla refill pack really costs in Maputo
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.28 per 10 ml.
How we tested vanilla in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.28 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
