Cherry squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a squonk mod for cherry
A cherry squonk mod from the discounted options in Mozambique costs about MT1.84 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run cherry the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Cherry in Maputo reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cherry in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
