Cola pen device IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cola habit
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.5 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: cola in Maputo works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola pen device really costs in Maputo
Cola sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested cola in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where cola goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.5 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
