Cola cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
Cola in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Cola cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola cartomizer really costs in Maputo
The honest read on cola: 22 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested cola in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cola goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for cola in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is cola legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.04 per 10 ml liquid plus MT55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
