Coconut squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 15 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The honest read on coconut: 15 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coconut squonk mod really costs in Maputo
A coconut squonk mod from the compared options in Mozambique costs about MT3.49 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested coconut in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coconut in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
How long does coconut in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coconut the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.49 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
