Coconut refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coconut habit
Coconut in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run coconut the same way in Maputo: same refill pack, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coconut refill pack really costs in Maputo
Coconut in Maputo reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested coconut in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.45 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is coconut legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
How long does coconut in a refill pack last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
