Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.24 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at coconut in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: coconut in Maputo works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested coconut in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coconut in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.24 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
