Citrus vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run citrus the same way in Maputo: same vape pen, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus vape pen really costs in Maputo
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.49 per 10 ml.
How we tested citrus in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.49 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for citrus in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does citrus in a vape pen last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
