Berry mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Berry mesh tank here
We run berry the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on berry: 9 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested berry in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every berry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where berry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
