Cherry starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 19 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Cherry starter kit here
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.79 per 10 ml.
Cherry starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry starter kit really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at cherry in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested cherry in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
