Cherry starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cherry habit
A cherry starter kit from the pre-order options in Mozambique costs about MT3.14 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry starter kit really costs in Maputo
Cherry in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested cherry in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.14 per 10 ml liquid plus MT32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does cherry in a starter kit last?
