Cherry starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with cherry in Mozambique
We run cherry the same way in Maputo: same starter kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry starter kit really costs in Maputo
Cherry in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cherry in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.57 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does cherry in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.57 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
