Dessert mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Dessert is allowed to say
A dessert mesh tank from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT2.56 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Dessert in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Dessert in Maputo reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested dessert in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.56 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
