Cherry pen device IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 21 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with cherry in Mozambique
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

The short version: cherry in Maputo works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry pen device really costs in Maputo
The honest read on cherry: 21 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested cherry in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does cherry in a pen device last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
