Cherry cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Cherry in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: cherry in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.82 per 10 ml.
How we tested cherry in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.82 per 10 ml.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Maputo survives.
