Mint RDA IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with mint in Mozambique
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Mint RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint RDA really costs in Maputo
We run mint the same way in Maputo: same RDA, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
