Caramel vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Caramel in Maputo: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with caramel in Mozambique
If you are looking at caramel in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.82 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel vape pen really costs in Maputo
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.82 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Maputo survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.82 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
