Caramel starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Caramel in Maputo: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
If you are looking at caramel in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel starter kit really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested caramel in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for caramel in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.61 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
