Caramel in Maputo: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Caramel in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Caramel in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested caramel in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT43 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.15 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.15 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does caramel in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
