Herbal nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Herbal in Maputo: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with herbal in Mozambique
The honest read on herbal: 10 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run herbal the same way in Maputo: same nicotine salt bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
A herbal nicotine salt bottle from the compared options in Mozambique costs about MT1.73 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested herbal in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.73 per 10 ml liquid plus MT51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
