Caramel 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Caramel in Maputo: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the caramel habit
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.44 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at caramel in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 100 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Caramel 100 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested caramel in a 100 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.44 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.44 per 10 ml liquid plus MT35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
