Candy squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Candy squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: candy in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested candy in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where candy goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for candy in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
How long does candy in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
