Candy refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
If you are looking at candy in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run candy the same way in Maputo: same refill pack, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy refill pack really costs in Maputo
The honest read on candy: 24 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where candy goes wrong
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for candy in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.2 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
