Candy nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Candy in Maputo: 24 units tested over 7 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
We run candy the same way in Maputo: same nicotine salt bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on candy: 24 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at candy in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested candy in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where candy goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.89 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |

| Entry kit | MT38 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.89 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does candy in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
