Candy box mod IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: candy in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy box mod really costs in Maputo
We run candy the same way in Maputo: same box mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested candy in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where candy goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.19 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is candy legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.19 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
