Candy 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with candy in Mozambique
If you are looking at candy in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Candy in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: candy in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.25 per 10 ml.
How we tested candy in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.25 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
